Annual Chili Cook-Off

Heya folks! It’s that time of year again. In between the old and new feast years, we warm up the cold winter with a toasty fellowship over chili. Yes, it is a competition, but all in good fun!

If you are planning on entering this cook-off, please bring your crock pot of chili to share with the congregation. There will be unbiased judges to sample your creation separate from the populous. Once the judges decide who is the first, second, third, and runner-up winners, we will announce them and hand out their prizes!

If you’d like to pass on entering in the contest, you can still bring chili or other chili fixings. We could always use more cornbread, salad, coleslaw, chips and salsa, rice, french fries, chicken, grilled cheese, potato salad, and whatever else you can think of. Chili is our main dish for the potluck today, but everyone is free to get creative with their tasty side dishes!

Remember, this event will be photographed. If you’d rather not have your face on our website or social media, let Amara DeFelice know! She’ll be taking quality pictures of thee food, people and decor!
