The Feast of Booths, Succoth, will be held by the Congregation of YHWH at Group Camp #1 in Murray State Park, Oklahoma. The evening of October 3rd marks the beginning of this feast. We will be at the campsite from October 2nd to the 12th, in order to observe this first high day and last great day.

The following schedule is tentative and subject to change. We will notify everyone of any changes immediately through Facebook, and subsequently, Twitter.

This year, the children's and teens' classes will be blended together. It will be taught and supervised on rotation by the youth teachers: Areatha Haynes, Amara DeFelice, and Jacob DeFelice. Children and teens are asked to show up on time prepared and ready to learn, create, and discuss. If your child cannot participate in Friday's hike (at 1 PM), please inform Amara DeFelice by Thursday at 6:30 PM.

There will be no classes on Family Day or the first and last high days.

Family Day is changing it up this year. We will be having a field day, including activities that a person at any age can enjoy. There will be:

  • a volleyball tournament (where the winning team gets a prize)
  • an obstacle course
  • lawn games
    • bean bag toss
    • horse shoes
    • tug-of-war
  • biblical scavenger hunt
  • mini caricatures

These activities will run from 10 AM to 2 PM. Enjoy playing with children, teens, adults, and elders doing what we all do best-- having fun!

Every fireside discussion will have the opportunity to roast kosher marshmallows. This allows the youth to listen in on these after dark bible studies while creating a special bond over tasty treats. Glow sticks and washable (skin safe) glow paint will be provided at one of the fireside discussion times. This will be a surprise, so be sure to stop by each and every one of them!

Pictures will be taken throughout the course of the feast by many people. This includes Amara, who will be posting many of them to our website and Facebook. If you do not want your picture taken and posted online, please let Amara know on Wednesday, October 4th. She will ensure that if your picture was taken, that it will not be uploaded.

A group picture will be taken for the 2018 Congregation of YHWH calendar on Wednesday, October 11th. The time is to be announced. Please come and pose with us for marking the end of another wonderful year praising Yahweh's name.
